Weld on float fittings help to keep corrosion off of the airframe, there are no more holes in the fabric from the bolt on float fittings.  The STC is for paperwork only.  The weld on float fittings are purchased through Atlee Dodge.

Applicable models are all Piper PA-22 and PA-20 aircraft.
