This STC removes the header tanks from the fuel system. These header tanks would sometimes trap water in the fuel system and can rupture causing a fire in the event of a crash. In our opinion, the removal of the header tanks is an increase in aircraft safety.

The STC is for paperwork only.  The fuel valve and gascolator installed in our STC are from Dakota Cub. The Dakota Cub fuel valve does not contain any AD’s against it. You will have to contact Dakota Cub for current pricing on all of their parts.

Applicable models are all Piper PA-18 and PA-19 aircraft.
